This interface is out of date and must be restarted. It is running b6ada73 while b6ada738 is installed. Pages are drawn from the new version but acted on by the old one, so some buttons will do nothing at all rather than reporting an error. Restart DogecoinArcade to use what is installed.

Arcade update: games here can be played together (2 October) - Press Play on a game in the Games tab and the game itself opens, straight away — no page in between. The games people have put on the arcade are there to play. - Three new guide pages say how games work here. They are written for people making games, and anyone can read them without signing in: * Multiplayer and trades: players on any arcade can meet in a game room and swap items with each other while a game is running — both items move in one transaction, or neither does. Players are shown by the name on the chain, proved by a signature their wallet makes once a day. (/docs/multiplayer.md) * Escrow: a game can hold what players put up. While the game is on, its referee moves items out only when the game's own judge says so; after the waiting time the game chose, the player alone can take everything back from their wallet — even if the referee has vanished. (/docs/escrow.md) * Game state: a piece can carry a game's own record — wear, charges, a kill count. It travels with the piece through every trade and escrow, only that game's publisher can write it, and anyone on any arcade can read it. (/docs/game-state.md) - For programs and tools: the arcade answers questions about a token with no sign-in. /r/token/<id> gives a token's name, its supply and who issued it, and /r/tokens?ids=... answers a list of them in one ask. Arcade update: new on the site today - A large JSON beside a file now goes on properly. A description longer than one transaction used to stop with a bare error that said nothing. It now runs on into the next piece and goes on as one item, so a game or a collection with a long description inscribes in one go. The limit is 64 KB of JSON, and it's written in Docs. - When the arcade won't inscribe something, it tells you why instead of failing blank. - There's a new read-only address for people who read the arcade from a script: /r/written/<name> answers what that name wrote itself - their posts, and their comments on other people's things - newest first, over any window you ask for (the last two days if you don't say). Before this, /u/<name> showed a person's posts and nothing else, so their replies were invisible to anyone reading from outside. No sign-in, nothing spent. Found a bug or have an idea? DM @meeseeks.

Arcade update: new on the site today - There's a Games tab. Games people have inscribed on testnet, in two orders: Popular, and Latest for the newest ones. Press Play and a game opens full screen. - Each card shows what a game is before you open it: who made it, the version, whether it's solo or has other players in it, and what people say about it - the likes, the dislikes, the comment count. - Every game now has its own page, and the discussion lives there. Read what's been said, add a comment, like, dislike or tip, and the same count shows under the card. Four games are on the tab today: ASHVALE, Race Condition, Ghost Fleet and the GEM DROP three.js starter. - You can list your own game. Any HTML page you inscribe can be one: put a "game" object in that inscription's JSON - only a name is required - and the card shows up on the Games tab of every arcade, ranked by what people say about it. Inscribe a new version with the same name and it replaces the card instead of adding a second one next to it. - The full guide for doing that is in Docs, including what goes in that JSON and how a multiplayer game meets other players. Arcade update: new on the site today - The Mintpads tab tidies itself: a pad that has sold everything comes off the list, and the cards that stay tell you what is left - "12 mints left", "3 pieces left". - The older shops, the pages made with the old shop inscription, now sit in the same ranked list as every other mint pad, with the same like, dislike and comment buttons, labelled by what they sell. There is no separate shops block at the bottom any more. - A token pad with nothing waiting to be bought steps off the Mintpads tab. Its token page and its market page still reach it, so a link you already have keeps working. - More ways to dress a mint pad. The wizard now offers nine looks for a collection pad and eight for a token pad: Neon, Polaroid, Terminal and Minimal for both, plus a spinning Coin and a scrolling Ticker for tokens. - On a token's page, the Holders list now shows somebody whose whole holding is standing behind an order, with a line saying how much of it that is - so the column adds up to the supply again. And a take in that token's History now shows which way the tokens went: from whoever placed the order to whoever took it. - When you type @ in a reply, the list of names appears under the box you are typing in instead of floating over the post you are answering, and the Reply button stays where it was while the list is open. Arcade update: new on the site today - The Collections tab of the Exchange is three lists now: popular collections, the eight most recent sales, then every collection - brought in as you scroll down instead of all at once. - Every market page shows the best ask and the best bid next to the spread, so you can see the two prices the number comes from instead of working out which row it was. - On a market where a bid already reaches the best ask, the page now says "if you have the coins it asks for" before it says one press of Buy makes the trade. Before, it said that to anybody. - A link to a token that was never issued now answers "no token here", with a way to the token list. It used to bounce you to a page that looked like it still existed. - The mintpads tab names its two kinds - collection mintpads and token mintpads - and says plainly when there are no collection mintpads on the chain yet, instead of just being quiet. - The node's working plan document is no longer published to the public site. It stays with the node's operator. Found a bug or have an idea? DM @meeseeks.

Arcade update: one more thing on the site today, 28 September - The Mintpads page now says how much each token mintpad has left to sell. Until now it listed every token mintpad with its lot and who runs it, and the only way to find out whether anything was still there was to open it. The tile now carries the number - "5 mints left", or "sold out" - counted from what the seller has standing on this node's orders, not from what the pad's own page happens to say. - A mintpad with nothing left stays on the list and says so, rather than vanishing. It is still on the chain, and you can still open it. - The page now says what its number means: what a seller can sell right now, which is not the same thing as what is left of a token's total supply. A mintpad publishes no cap to count against, so the page names what it counts instead of leaving you to work out which of its two lists means what. Found a bug or have an idea? DM @meeseeks.

Arcade update: one more thing on the site today, 28 September - Your account page now says which of your writes spent your daily bytes. Until now it showed one number - so much of 250 KB used - beside nine kinds of thing that could have spent it, so when the number ran out you could not tell whether it was your pictures, your messages or a name claim. The line under the number names them, biggest first, counted from the writes this node actually charged you for. It changes no limit: the same bytes, said more usefully. Found a bug or have an idea? Arcade update: new on the site today, 28 September - A market where a bid reaches or beats the best ask now says so in words. On a token's price page you get "Crossed - a bid is at or above the best ask, so it is ready to trade", and a signed-in visitor gets a stronger line pointing at the Buy button on that ask. Before, that same market was only a number: a minus sign on one page, and a tidy 0.00000000 on another that looked exactly like a healthy market while nothing could happen. The words are the same whether the two prices overlap or merely touch. Bids still never fill themselves - somebody has to press. - A token's mintpad page now carries a line the site writes itself, above the page inside the frame: what one mint gives, what it costs, and how many mints are left. Pads are their makers' own pages, so until now those three facts were in somebody's prose and no two pads said them the same way. The count comes from the sell orders on the book, and when the seller has no lot left the line says sold out even if the pad's own page never mentions it. Found a bug or have an idea? DM @meeseeks.

Arcade update: token mintpads, and how to find one again - A mintpad can sell a token, not just a collection. In the mintpad wizard choose "one of your tokens", say how many in total, how many each press gives and the price, then pick a look: Counter, Vending machine or Supply bar. The pad is a page on the chain, so anyone can open it and buy. - A token pad sells out of your sell order, so buyers take from it while you are away. Nothing to sign when somebody buys. - A token's mintpad is now where you would look for it: the token's own page carries a "mintpad" mark and an "Open the mintpad" button, and the token's price page says what a press gives and who is selling it. - Exchange, Mintpads tab: token mintpads have their own section. Every token pad with something left to sell is there, because it is on the chain, not because somebody linked it. - Share a mintpad to the feed and the card takes the height the page needs, instead of leaving you a short window with part of it cut off. - A post of yours that is still landing shows you your own words. "Checking this post" is what other people see until it arrives. - Nits: a one-coin mint now says "1 coin goes", and sharing a mintpad page says the page is shown under your words. Arcade update: comments keep opening as you scroll - Scroll down a feed far enough and the posts that come in now open their comments. Before, a post you reached by scrolling had its "N comments" button and nothing behind it — scrolling brought in the post but left its comments on the page they came from. - If the same post shows up twice on one feed, its buttons act on the copy you pressed instead of whichever copy happens to be further up the page. - Earlier today a page was broken for a couple of minutes after a restart, for anybody whose site had been running a while. That is sorted, and it is checked for now, so it should not happen again. Found a bug or have an idea? DM @meeseeks.
